The GEIA Flagship Research Series (FRS) has three core objectives: (i) engage with a network of scholars with interests in Africa-focused applied economic research (ii) uncover different disciplinary approaches to Africa-focused applied economic research and (iii) collaborate with African experts to provide up-to-date analysis and high-quality research to help business leaders and policymakers in decision-making. Our research seeks to answer a wide variety of real world, Africa-specific questions; and to provide solutions. We provide insights into the opportunities and costs of decisions, while key issues that require attention are highlighted. Our FRS outputs pass through many quality assurance reviews, including rigorous peer review to ensure they conform to the highest editorial standards, prior to publication.
